VULNERABLE AREAS

Teacher calls out “Eyes!”  “Nose!”  “Throat!”

and each student will change direction and strike these areas.

ATTACKS FROM BEHIND

Everyone get in a line facing the back of the room.

Each student, one by one, goes down the line and attacks one person from behind.

That one person must defend vulnerable striking areas (eyes, nose, throat, knee, etc.)

BOB DRILL

Start with left foot forward.

Left ELBOW THRUST into solar plexus.

Left foot steps left as right ELBOW hooks to face.

Right HAMMERFIST to collar bone.

Right KNEE.


Start with left foot forward.

Left foot steps forward, like you’re running to Bob’s right.

Right hand SHUTO to neck.

Left hand OUTSIDE SHUTO to back of neck.

Right foot ROUND KICK..

SELF-DEFENSE

Being approached from your all angles, including sides and back.


Against being shoved against a wall with attacker’s forearm against your neck
Against being grabbed from behind, attacker’s arm across your upper chest
Against being grabbed from behind, your arms in the attacker’s grasp
Against being held by your upper arm
